The problem is a lot of teams want the same and are drafting earlier and taking off the board. Veatch has to and guys that have the potential to be that guy. It worked out with Reek but those are rare.

I get that. However, we apparently had a chance to draft McLaurin back in the day, but went a different route. And we could've gone after Ridley when he was being traded, but seemingly we weren't interested in Calvin either.


Just saying, it's not like they haven't had some golden opportunities in there.
