Time to start benching WR's

I am not a fan of paying Jones $30 million a year, but it's not that much more per year than we wanted to pay, compared to how ridiculously bad the receivers are. Yeah, we pay Jones an extra $3-$5 million a year, but we have a receiver who belongs on an NFL roster.

What do we think Veach should've done differently? Genuine question, I'm happy to criticise Veach, I'm just trying to work out the options.

- Move up for a higher prospect in the draft? - Meh, probably not
- Double dip in the draft? - I'd probably have done this with the Thompson pick but I doubt it makes a difference
- Trade?
- Ditch MVS or another move, don't go for Tranquill, free up cap space and go for a WR in FA? In which case how and who? What does the Jones deal allow us to do?

Veach absolutely read the WR room wrong, it's been a mess and it was hubris to think Mahomes fixes everything. I said it before last year and then thought I was proven wrong. Nope. Apparently even a Juju type is needed.
