Seeing a lot of teams with sub .500 records with WRs that need to get with Mahomes.

Who is available and who would you like to see us pursue to go with Rice and Watson.

Which tells me it won’t be that way next year. When Veach knew the O-line was a yuge problem he “fixed” it and I expect the same for the WR issue. That might include signing a high-priced dude like Higgins.

You don’t have to give up your first if Jones or Sneed are part of that trade. Aiyuk will be on his fifth year option next year and a tag and trade (while with Jones will be harder) is still a possibility.

Chiefs fans are going to be very confused and disappointed when they realize we’re not tagging and trading Jones and he leaves for nothing.

And the 49ers - whom you’re proposing we trade with - aren’t taking either player in exchange.

Let’s say we’re going to have to extend Aiyuk for what it would cost to sign Higgins.

Would you rather give up a 1 for Aiyuk and then have to pay him or keep the 1 and sign Higgins for the same amount?

I’d much rather go the latter route if those are both options.

YES! If there is a way to sign Higgins, DO IT!! I would absolutely love that and keeping our 1st is a huge bonus.

I think he will get a top of the market or setting a new high contract. Probably takes us out but if Veach can figure it out, Ya Boy!

Also theoretically, if you trade for a guy and have to extend him you really aren’t competing with the open market on paying so you could save some

I love Aiyuk but I dont know if I would say he is better. I would be thrilled to have either.

If you are trading a 1 for him, he has ALL the leverage. Thats not a recipe for a discount.
