I wonder if McDermott has started acting weird around his staff and team and looking all nervous yet.

I am sure everyone would agree that we are a better team than the Broncos. But, we saw them whoop our ass, because the Broncos wanted that game badly, and the Chiefs pissed down their leg. One team looked like they wanted to win, and one team looked like they were playing a preseason game.

If you think that can't happen against the Bills, you are delusional.
What... We had beaten the Broncos 16 straight games... We had been to 5 straight AFCCG's. That was Denver's Superbowl, no way we could match that intensity in the regular season. Like it or not, the regular season is more like preseason for the Chiefs with their recent history. We lost 1 game by more than 1 score, and everyone we played was up more for the game than probably any other game this year. The season has now started. The Chiefs being ready to play Sunday won't be an issue.

The Chiefs outplayed Buffalo in the first match-up.

The Chiefs were missing Pacheco, Tranquill and Donovan Smith in that game... now Buffalo is the team more injured (especially on defense).

The Chiefs will have two extra days of rest heading into Sunday's game, whereas Buffalo was coming off their bye in the first match-up.

Yes, because the regular season game at Denver was the same as a Divisional playoff game.

I'm betting that Reid and company make sure the officials see that play and have it in mind as the game starts.

That fake slide shit is so bush league. And yeah - it's likely to get you smoked at some point. The problem is that Allen is seemingly indestructible. That dude takes some hits and seems to shrug them all off.

That was a trap game for the Chiefs... coming off a big win vs the Chargers, and about to travel to Germany to play the Dolphins the following week.

Playing Buffalo in the Divisional Round of the playoffs is not a trap game.

Also Mahomes had the flu that game.

I haven't figured that one out yet.

The Bills haven't really had a dominant pass rusher this season, but their rush is awfully varied. It comes from a lot of different areas and can really push the pocket around.

I think maybe that's a good thing for us in that we have a deep OL. We don't have a Trent Williams or Lane Johnson OT, but we also don't have a Spencer Burford going out there and getting his shit pushed in every play either.

We have 5 good to very good pass blocking OL. If they communicate and play well collectively, they should be fine. We shouldn't have too many issues because I don't see anyone in Buffalo that will physically beat anyone we have with any regularity.

Cleveland worried me because Garrett can eat anyone alive. Buffalo doesn't really have that guy at the moment unless Von Miller turns back the clock and has a game like he had a couple years ago. Even then, I think we're better equipped for it.

I didn't notice that on the long run while watching the game (I saw the replay later and yeah) but, I did notice it on that PF. I was saying the same. How can this guy get away with a late slide like that on a called running play and still get the PF penalty call? It's kind of BS.

Yeah, almost forgot about Pat being sick... he was "off" for sure. He looked slower and indecisive. Buffalo won't get that Patrick this time.

The Bills need to be careful building these things up too much. A win is great, but tends to lead to letdowns.
