Anyone Going to Baltimore?

I might have a lead on some face value tickets, and a train ride would be abut $150RT. Weather looks like rain, but I am tempted to try and make my way there. Don't know much about B'more and wouldn't really want to hang there on a Saturday night alone, but curious if there is a contingent of Chiefs fans making plans.

This is 100% accurate. Just like areas of most major cities - some spots you want to avoid and others are completely fine. Last time I went to a game I parked ~1 mile away and walked to it - no big deal.

Trust me it's grimier in Baltimore. You can get confronted by "squeegee" bums even in the nicer parts, or at least you could in 2020.

The inner harbor is very neat - good aquarium, shops, little Italy right next to it.

I expected to encounter a lot more hostility in Buffalo. Instead people as we were all walking through the gates were saying things like "thanks for coming to Buffalo", and chatting with us in a friendly tone for the most part. A few people yelled stuff, but we just smiled, yelled "Go Chiefs!" and kept walking and that was the end of it. I really don't think Ravens fans are more hard core than Bills fans.

Like most I don't take kindly to grown bummy men ****ing around with my car "to make some money". I had a colleague that had his car tires macheted after he told one to GTFO. It's not always simple. It's best to not even drive into Baltimore. Take the train.

Seems that if i do a Sunday/Sunday train that skyrockets in price anyway so might as well take the long route and maybe get to check out the harbor a little.

Acela is great from NYC to Baltimore. Harbor is on the way if you go through downtown.

Had a week long class in Boston and asked locals where to go for seafood. All of them said this place. Did not disappoint. Wanted some off the beaten path mom and pop type joint but took their advice.

Well, parking and the place to get the train rides aren't close. As soon as I got out of my car, I ran the entire way to and from. I was so damn tired. I couldn't wait to take a seat on the train and get back to my car. So no game for me!
