My point originally was I'd rather date someone who actually knows who they are as opposed to someone still growing up. Might there be an issue or two? Sure! Figuring that out is what dating is for. But you seem to view choosing a date like buying a car.

I didn't handwave anything. I literally said that a mature 21 year old is an outlier, but that they do exist. I had already conceded that point. But like I said, maturity changes, but a damaged woman is a damaged woman.
