Reckless driving is a misdemeanor. You gonna be cool with this if they detain rashee rice purely for a moving violation a few hours before game time? You think a simple apology will be fine if you detain Morgan wallen a few hours before a concert people paid hundreds of dollars for for a moving violation? You don't just detain every single person. There is a thing called restraint and discretion

Not a damn person on this forum would be cool with this if you replaced tyreeks name with a key starter for the chiefs and everyone knows it

Just curious, what laws are the important ones? You know the ones that matter for everyone. I can scroll by some posts I don't agree with, yours takes it to a new level.

Who said he should get away with anything? If he was driving recklessly he should be fined and punished. There needs to be a way bigger reason to force him to the ground and handcuff him. And even bigger to detain him. And yeah, considering the stakes of making this kind of a high profile arrest, there better be a very good explanation for what they were going to gain from this that they couldn't have done after releasing him.

The bodycam if it exists could show something very different. But there had better be a very good reason for it or else it could be a very expensive overreach
