And the ship building mods are a real game changer as well.

For example, I've basically identified a handful of planets for outpost building that have all the critical resources you need. I basically build in the same spots every playthrough, go rest for four or five hours at my main base that has a day conversion rate of 57 to 1, then go back, collect the thousands of resources, store them on the ship, and then I never have to go back again. No cargo links or transfer containers needed. Ever. I know at this point the stuff I need to have large quantities of and the stuff I can buy in sufficient quantities from vendors, and only worry about the critical stuff. And all these planets are on level 1 worlds, so there's no need to dump points into the planet habitation skill.

So it's still worth a fresh look if you haven't played for a while. Just not this shitty DLC.
It's tempting, but Bethesda and I do not have a great history when it comes to mods.

I was a good soldier, purchased 3 different iterations of Skyrim over the past 13 years. I had a load order for all of my mods that took FOREVER to perfect, but on I had it, the game was simply the greatest first person rog experience of my life.

Then, I believe it was the Anniversary Edition update or some shit that launched, and COMPLETELY bricked my game.

Mods were removed, changed, some put behind a pay wall, for a time, the game wouldn't even launch.

All so Bethesda could get every last penny they could from the Skyrim faithful.

All of that work, effort to tailor the perfect experience was simply gone. I have not played Skyrim since, and I won't be spending any time getting a fantastic mod list in order for Todd Howard to be one day sitting around thumb popping his asshole and decide he needs Starfield players to kick in again, and launches another file destroying update.

I enjoyed Starfield as best I could, for what it was, and now I'm out. I don't have that brain itch while I'm at work thinking about how I could renovate my latest starship. I don't see the game in my sleep anymore.

For me it's best that the main negative I had for Starfield was being unable to complete Ryujin faction twice over.
