The Chiefs have consistently played down to each and every opponent. Teams that we should crush are allowed to hang in to the 4th quarter. Even in post season "when it matters" they're going down multiple scores before all the pistons get firing. It's obviously something they're accustomed to, and it's nice to have experience upon experience of winning games like this, but honestly there's really no rule against coming in and slamming the door from the kickoff. Spags has some work to do with his pressure packages, because they are getting blocked up pretty well. Admittedly that kid made a few absolute dynamite throws in that game that remind you that there's no defense for a perfect pass. The td bullet with Duff's arm in between the receivers arms, and that throw where he absolutely got blasted back to the stone age and still threw a ****ing dot for the first down. You'll live with those, because God damn, that's not going to happen all the time. I think the Chiefs across the board, fans included thought this was a win just for showing up. We opened the game strong, and expected them to roll over, and they refused. Allowing 20-9 to turn into 30-27, when your defense typically plays far superior football in the second half is just frustrating to watch.
