I feel better going into the playoffs with him this year than I did in 2022. He had a 75% FG conversion rate going into the playoffs in 2022. This year he's at 84%. Think he'll be nails as usual in the playoffs.

Something isn't right after the last Denver Game. My guess is it's in his head because he's what - 3 weeks cleared?

We roll with him until he gives us reason not to.

I mean, realistically, we roll with him come hell or high water. It's not like we're going to bring in Matthew Wright for the Super Bowl.

I'll admit I have had my doubts about him in past seasons but damn, dude missed a 50+ yard FG today in a game that meant dick. He missed I believe one other since he returned and that was on a play the entire ST couldn't get their shit together.

Not worried.

He's had mini-slumps before.

He doesn't miss game winners. He might miss a kick or two but when the game is on the line he's automatic.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

He did that to compensate for a partial tear in the plant leg, right?

It is starting to bring up the memories from a few years ago when an extra point was a crap shoot.

If it were a problem it's one aspect of the game they can easily identify in practice. Since he's been back he's made a couple 44 yarders as his long.
