I dont think it's because the chiefs are a midwest team. Cincy and buffalo aren't exactly big market. If anything the patriot dominated media is on our side because they understand what it feels like to be Goliath. The media annointed the Bengals their cinderella to take down Goliath and this is what happens when you take bandwagons way too seriously. Baltimore and buffalo are every bit our rival but you don't see nearly this kind of whining from them.

That's why the refs play for the chiefs shit started after kc lost to cincy even though they have one of the least reasons to complain over legit calls. And that's why for the first time in NFL history there is such outrage over “throwing games” for sitting starters even though the universally hated pats and colts did it for decades.

Excellent point! Why can't they help out a team in their own division? You get 3 teams in your division into the playoffs, and you WON said division, why, that makes you even better because you won a VERY competitive division.
