Perine is a good receiving back as proven by what he’s done prior to coming to KC. They barely used him as a rb, let alone ad a receiver. Because as we were told, “Andy is holding everything back for the playoffs”. Still barely used him either way except for icing the Bills game. We don’t have that talent on the roster. Perine is decent on designed plays and screens and can sometimes break tackles. He doesn’t create like McKinnon or Williams did. He’s also not gonna make guys miss in the open field very often.

Perine is old and wasn’t ever that fast. They need youth. They need speed. They need a guy who can make guys miss in the open field again.
