The one lone franchise that isn't live service, I won't talk about the negatives here I'm staying positive.

BL2 has been a really good game. Took a while to figure it out, and that the guns are mostly random.

I just beat Handsome Jack and the big monster, now on super loot hard mode or whatever it's called.

True Vault Hunter, followed by Ultimate Vault hunter, followed by Overpower 1-10 I believe lol.

BL 2 is the best of the franchise for sure.

However, 2k / Take2 can die in an aids fire if they think im agreeing to that new privacy invading EULA that dropped in late March.

If it's anything like what happened with 3, you'll probably be better served to just wait 6 months to play it so they have time to settle on how they actually want classes to perform. There's only a certain level of fun allowed by them for a non competitive shooter after all.

Like, I'd no sooner get my class setup just right, and aquire the best gear to support it, and the hotfix/patches roll through and just ruin the entire build.

God damn that was more annoying than the antagonists of the main story.

I miss Borderlands 1, game had you on the edge of your seat and had a different feeling to it. I don't mind Zane and his zingers but 1 and 2 were better than any other in the series.

I played the shit out of the original when it released. 2 absolutely blew my mind, as a game should that literally stole funding from another project to put toward it. BL 2 and all of its expansions were the equivalent of home console crack. Farming for not only the legendary item, but the perfect components on that item.

When I landed the first Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold with all TORGUE parts except for the Maliwan reticle sight, you would have thought one of the Greybeards from Skyrim had taken up residence in my house, such was the atmosphere shattering roar that tore loose from my lungs.

Dude is really pushing his luck. I LOVED Borderlands 2.

Pre Sequel absolutely sucked with the removal of farmable bosses, lackluster classes, and even more lackluster weapon tiers.

3, I couldn't stand that shitass writing, and I never did really find the character class that made me want to keep playing. If I ever got close to one, rest assured they swooped in and bricked it with an update.

I didn't even play a single one of its expansions. Its almost as if they dont steal the money from another project, they can't deliver on the scale of BL 2.

I can tell you if this shit launches at 80 bucks, I'm more than happy to wait as long as it takes for that price to come down, because everything since BL 2 has been aggressively mid.
