How many balls that hit Richard Smith in the hands did he drop? That former 1000 yard receiver never showed up here after he left Detroit.

That I remember? None. He does have a wopping 8 catches to his credit in the NFL though. On second thought, I'd rather go with the undrafted rook with 8 catches on his resume, rather than a vet with 500+ catches on his.

I personally think Mortons' fate was sealed before Bo got hurt for the year.
I fully expected to see him gone, and Horn make the roster.

1000 yards in Detroit means nothing........that's because they piled up yards after being down by so much all the time, then had to pass to get back in it. Barry Sanders has the only yards in the history of that team that mean a thing! <<< Morton

I'd rather have hope in Smith. If Morton plays, I'll root for him like any other Chief, but he has dropped too many balls. Just take a look back to the colts game, he had three key drops. A Veteran?

Your talking about one game. Holmes fumble was killer as well. Nobody seems to talk about that. I'm not saying Morton's God, I'm just saying that I'd rather have Morton lined up against Denver more than I would Richard Smith...Who still has a lot to prove to me, like actually making a catch in a game that counts.

Bo and Wilson are going to be missed severely in this offense.

I WHOLE HEARTEDLY DISAGREE. Boerigter did nothing in this offense last season and Kris Wilson was still at Pitt. How can we miss both of them when neither of them showed up last season???

What he said. How can you miss something you never had?

The offense late year wasn't good enough. Sure, it was great, but if it doesn't get better ever year, it's not good enough. Plus, our outside passing game was never super hot. I think Wilson and Bo gave people hope that we would 1. continue to improve and 2. have more options on the outside.

We can miss what they "could" have brought this year. I thought both represented the way that KC was going to improve on offense.

OK, so an MRI before the cuts showed it wasn't torn and a new MRI shows a tear?

Morton better run on tat until it ruptures.
