Complete garbage. Welbourn wasn't happy on a team that went to the NFC Championship 3 years in a row, that tells you something about his makeup.

I was happy at the time of the deal, but this guy sucks period. He's a good guard, a horribly awful tackle.

when stuff like this happens once ... it's a fluke

when you have problems with this type stuff for years and years it's poor management.


we are ALWAYS up against the cap

we always come up short during any trades

we never seem have extra draft picks

we cut players, when other teams trade players

we use the transition tag instead of franchise tag so that we get NO compensation(even though the tag money is only 1 million different)

we give up a 3rd and 5th for a offensive tackle that is really a guard AND has a bum knee.

we outbid another team to keep our backup tackle(spears) and then refuse to use him.

we draft running backs in the first round when we have the worst defense in the history of defense and a pro bowl RB AND THEN give our pro bowl RB a new contract AND THEN find out that our current backup running back is decent AND THEN just let said RB go in FA.



all this chit isn't a curse, it isn't an accident

I say we're cursed because in one playoff game we had the most sure-handed RB in the league fumble, another time where he slipped and fell down turning the corner on a sweep in the red zone, our all-pro TE get a touchy PI call, a WR drop a couple wide open sure 1st down catches, and our FG kicker who had been perfect from inside 40 all year shanked one and we didn't catch a single break.... that's cursed.

things go wrong all the time to everyone, the good teams/organization put themselve in position to overcome them.

If the Eagles had a conscience they would tell the Chiefs to keep the 3rd rounder out of guilt from the previous molestation.

yes, we did suck but it's really pretty irrelevant to the job that carl does as a GM

just because steadman sucked worse, doesn't mean that carl doesn't suck.


CP = good president
CP = good CEO
CP = crappy GM


beside the financial landscape changed at almost the precise time that carl took over. The ability to achieve financial success and relative team parity increased 100x when the NFL change free agency etc to increase parity.


Carl peterson's job is twice as easy as Jack Steadman's was imo
