As for the baby boomer group being so huge, I fail to see how having a huge group of people sucking on the system that is currently partially funded by (but will soon enough be entirely funded by in the case of socialist insecurity ) a class that is "too friggin small" makes it MORE solvent.
Because about 2/3 of the Baby Boomer generation is still working (it runs through 1965) and many will be for another 20 years. Hell I will be working for another 10 to 12 and I was born in 55. So you think all those kids out there when you were growing up did not need medical insurance? Do you let your kids go uninsured?
