Sub-forum decision

We have 4 sub-forums stuck at the top of the page. We need to add a "Games" sub-forum during the season for all our Gambling, pick'em, score, fantasy, etc. games which accompany the regular season.

I don't want more than 4 sub-forums at the top, so one of them needs moved. Which one?

I think that's right, but Moonbat is a difficult language to learn because it seems to have fewer than 100 words. It has to have something to do with the ordering of the words or the intenation. Maybe it doesn't translate well into written form.

Can I understand why someone who has been subjected to numerous indignities might approach it that way? Maybe. I'm not necessarily condoning it but I do think it's hypocritical for those on the right to complain about something that they also practiced, and with quite a bit of fervor.

I can also understand how many conservatives feel now that the tide has turned. Been there, done that. I'm only saying that they ought to suck it up. A lot of them have. I've been impressed with a lot of those who have made concessions. Ironically, they are not the ones who want to quit. I'd be curious to know if the hits to the DC forumn have dropped substantially over the past few months. I have a feelings those on the flight, er, 'right' actually do visit the forum. They merely have assumed lurker status.

If they are completely avoiding the place altogether than it's quite clear they don't want their nose rubbed in the state of the Union/WH Raiders. As is human nature, they would rather be the rubbers and not the rubees.

A lot of us were/are just sick and tired of the constant and relentless bashing and negativity by a handful of posters over there; and we didn't even want to see it listed in the subforums as a reminder....at least DURING the season.

In the off-season, at least, it belongs alongside the other forums. As Logical and others have said, despite it's decline....it's still the second most visited and posted forum on the Planet. JMHO.

Skip if those posts are around I actually voted for moving the DC forum out separate and posted that the time had definitely come for it even if it might threaten the BB. So this post does not accurately reflect my position. Nor do I advocate bring DC type threads back into the lounge.

I just don't support it ending up like the Royal's forum where people end up trying to sneak those type threads into the lounge because there is no traffic in the forum. I know how much you love those Royals threads so I thought I would remind you of what can happen when a forum dies.

I was right about one thing here, the Royal subforum died and was never really used.
