I had a friend that used ear candles and it definitely works. It's pretty amazing/disgusting to see how much wax is in an ear.

See, I've been told that all that crap you see isn't actually ear wax, but rather a by product of the process. I don't know because I've never done it.

But if it really does remove that much wax, it's my understanding that your ear produces wax to protect itself and removing too much is dangerous.

This friend of mine swore by these candles and I've seen the "ear wax" that he said came from his ears..... But, after further review, researchers have found the wax to be from the candles.
