I would like to believe that for the Chiefs' sake, but part of me thinks its just misinformation that gets put out there a lot in the NFL. The injury happened to the knee he doesn't have to plant with, and he has been rehabing like crazy. I saw him throwing sprials 40 yards almost a month ago. I really think he will be ready to go for the season opener. He might not be in top form, but he'll still be a better option than their backup.
