Over the air HD antenna. An antenna to pick up the HD single off the tower, just like rabbit ears, sorta, only for HD.

Well, i was talking about a set top top tuner, which you'll need if your TV or Sat box doesn't have a digital OTA tuner in it. But yeah, that.

An ATSC tuner? So you can get the local CBS affiliate in HD over the air?

or maybe your DTV box has one in it, in which case you just need to connect an aerial to it?

The problem is that I have a DVR. The DTV dish I need for the DVR doesn't pick up local channels. To get the local channels I have a UHF antenna hooked up to the DVR, which picks up every channel except 2, which as luck would have it, is the CBS affiliate. The DTV dish that picks up local channels isn't compatible with the DVR (Catch-22 situation from hell). So I can't get CBS in HD, and if the Chiefs game is being broadcast locally, DTV blocks out the specific HD channel, so I'm screwed.

Would this tuner work with my DVR?
