I need some words for a friend who just lost a pet

The empathy in this thread is about par for the CP.

There is a website called Rainbow Bridge that has good info for folks who are greiving for a lost pet. Or you could make a donation to your local animal shelter in your friend's name. Just letting your freind know you're thinking about him and feel for his loss is very thoughtful of you.

I lost one of my kitties last week to feline HIV. I had him for six years and he was one of my best friends. I miss him very much.
