Possible three way trade in the works Lions/Broncos/Jets

Profootballtalk.com reports the Jets, Lions, and Broncos are discussing a three-way trade that would send DT Dewayne Robertson to Denver, NT Shaun Rogers to New York, and DB Domonique Foxworth and a second-round draft choice to Detroit.

"What is this, the NBA? A three-way deal, especially involving players of this magnitude, would be unprecedented in the NFL. Still, each team would be getting a piece it desperately needs. We'll have to see how salary situations unfold and whether Detroit can work Jonathan Vilma into the blockbuster."

Thats hilarious, i'm sure he can still wing it...but he was always a putrid decision maker, & one awkward assed, leadfooted guy, always getting his foot stepped on by the C or simply falling down, at his current age i almost wish someone WOULD put him out there ...he'd make Huard look like a Blur of Catlike Poetry.

Those animal in the road eyes would be bigger than ever.

How about this doozy:

Anderson Rumors involving Dallas/Miami Trade...Rumors are spreading throughout the league that both the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens will pursue Browns quarterback Derek Anderson in free agency if the Browns are unable to reach a deal with Anderson before the free agency deadline expires...the Brown will likely use the highest tender on Anderson which would force any team that signs him to surrender their first and third round picks in the 2008 Draft with the Browns having the right to match any offer on the table...rumors are spreading that the Dolphins who own the first pick overall will deal that pick to the Cowboys for both of the Cowboys picks in the first round, which is less than the value chart but agreeable to both teams...the Dolphins would then surrender one of those first round picks plus a third to Cleveland for Anderson...the Dolphins would then come away with Anderson but still have a first round pick in the Draft...it's a strategy that has been widely speculated throughout the league over the past several weeks.

Not knocking you, blueballs, but that is reeruned.

Baltimore DRAFTED Anderson. Now they are going to give up a 1st and 3rd to get him back?

The Miami rumor is reeruned on several different levels.

The trade with the Cowboys BS is ridiculous enough, then they're gonna give up one of those picks for Anderson - basically giving up the #1 overall pick for a 5th round QB and a late 1st?

****ing reeruns should have never passed on Brady Quinn last year, or drafted Beck if they were this concerned with the QB position.

If it were anyone other than Bill Parcells (not GM, but he's not signing off on that) or Ozzie Newsome you were talking about, I might lean your way.

Baltimore stuff sounds like something the Chiefs would do. Very odd for them IMO.

Browns GM Phil Savage says he's ready for the Brady Quinn era if Derek Anderson doesn't accept the team's multi-year contract offer.

Savage doesn't expect Anderson to return if he passes on the three-year proposal currently on the table. The Browns don't plan to match any deal Anderson gets in restricted free agency. "We can look in the mirror and know we put a strong offer out there," Savage said. The Browns would be happy to take the first- and third-round picks they'd receive when Anderson signs an offer sheet, and appoint Brady Quinn as their 2008 starting QB.

I just saw on ESPN that Anderson is going to pass on a long term deal because he thinks that a team will sign him to an offer sheet.

Who in the hell is going to give up a 1st and 3rd for Derek ****ing Anderson?

I doubt it. Foxworth and a second is too much for Robertson.

The Browns will probably wait for someone to contact them about a trade. It won't be a 1st and a 3rd....but they'll get something for him.
