If you have an MP3 player, you can get a cassette adapter for about $5.
Then you will have a much larger library and don't have to mess with changing out the player. ![]() Either that or an FM modulator but I have had very little success with those and eventually gave up. Assuming that this is your stereo of course... |

Also... have you tried cleaning the unit? There are CD cleaning kits sold IIRC.

I hate optical storage and having numerous cd players go out on numerous cars... I spent $200 on a kenwood music keg. It's basically a 10GB (they have 20gb) harddrive that's stores your music & hooks up to my cd changer port (with the help of an adapter for true sound) of my yukon. There's a cradle that allows you to hook it up to your PC.
Don't know about your car but I couldn't get something custom without spending big $ so that's why I chose the music keg. If you can get a stereo with an usb input you probably be doing the same thing. Hope this helps. |
