Midgets on TV. Why do they have children?

Just what I was getting ready to type. The most prominent "little family" on tv right now seems to show the opposite of what our Resident Genius is telling us.

The family has 4 kids, only one of whom is another little person, though both parents are.

The father's parents were both normal size adults, not little people.

As I was reading through the thread, that was the exact point that I was going to make. I would much rather have responsible, caring "little people" having children knowing there's a risk that one of their children is going to be a little person than half of the welfare families that I see strolling through Wal-Mart.
