As I was reading through the thread, that was the exact point that I was going to make. I would much rather have responsible, caring "little people" having children knowing there's a risk that one of their children is going to be a little person than half of the welfare families that I see strolling through Wal-Mart.

You're generalizing. That's a bad thing in my opinion. I'm sure many people on welfare and people that live in the ghetto do the best they can with what they have. My Mother once told me if you wait till you think you can afford to have kids, you'll probably never have kids.
