Amazing dog story
Just saw this on the local news.

Man was dying of cancer in the hospital.
His dachshund runs through the electroshocking invisible fence and runs off.
Dog shows up 2 days later at the man's funeral 6 miles from home in a part of town he'd never been.

it's possible. A long time ago my mom gave away one of her cats to someone who lived about 6 or 7 miles away in a city and we lived in the country. Well, after about a month since she gave the cat away. The cat found her way home, she was skinny as hell and pretty weak but alive and soon to be well. There is no way that the people could have dumped her off by our house because my mom brought the cat to them and we didn't know them. (my mom was always nervous of having strangers over). I thought it was pretty incredible that cat made it all the way home from the city and we lived out in the country.

When I was a kid, my grandmother had this beagle (Rocky) for years and to this day I consider my favorite pet. My grandpa passed away and she eventually remarried. They decided to move to his place in the middle of BFE and took the dog with them. Not long after that the dog ran away. Then a couple months later, we were on a float trip no less than 15 miles from their house. Miraculously, Rocky's walking the banks of the same river at the same time we happened to be floating. We took him home, fattened him up, and he lived to the age of 15.
