I don't know why people are beating up on Teahen, he's probably been our best hitter so far.

He came into tonight with a 1.000+ OPS, and was on pace for 80 extra base hits and more walks than strikeouts. Combine that with outstanding baserunning and a strong arm in left, and he might be our best player so far. Now, my money would be that he finishes with an OPS under 1000 and less than 80 XBH, but... if we're going to freak out after 11 games, it would be really ignorant to say Teahen is the reason the offense is struggling at this exact moment. It isn't.

Most of that is bc Kauffman isnt a power hitting ballpark. Its more of a NL style park.

Until Teahen shows any power at all I won't believe he has it...

And no you can't have all power guys but you need SOME.

I personally think corner OF's especially in the AL should be near perfect offensive players.

It wouldn't be ChiefsPlanet if certain people didn't have something to complain about for about 250 straight posts.

Oh cmon I'm just tired of seeing 2 out of 3 OF's and a 1st baseman who will be lucky to hit 10 HR's a piece.

Hey, we had Juan Gonzalez!

But unfortunately, we had the 2004 version instead of the 1997 version.
