Satan didn't take advantage of the opportunity to corrupt me. My high school ghost didn't come out to anally probe me.

Either all this occult/paranormal bullshit is laughing at me behind my back or it doesn't exist. Because I've tried to invite it all into my life hundreds of times - short of Ouija boards - and NOTHING EVER HAPPENS.

VERY christian especially mom. She tried killing my OBE gift as quickly as possible. Dad was obsessed with his business. We never had much time together. He never talked about anything like that. Still can't get him to discuss spiritual things.

When I was a kid from like 6-12 I frequently had out of body experiences. Most of the time I would wake up and not be able to move and then would come out and look down on my body. The first several times it was terrifying I thought I was dead. It's something I wish my parents had harnessed my ability to do instead of telling me it was just a dream.

i always thought those were dreams, though i never looked down upon myself i did have a feeling of cant escape/held down.

Just saw this post...I would guess your parent's reaction would be pretty typical...in fact I can't say I wouldn't react the same way if my kid told me about it...but what could they have done to harness it?
