I'm sorry to hear that.... but we will gladly take another Chiefs fan. The "real" ones are leaving the stadium.

Why would you move from San Diego to Kansas? To save Money? Family?? Just curious....

I will say this, however, Lawrence tends to be one of the pricier towns in Kansas but it is still a fraction of what it would cost to live in San Diego. Welcome to the Sunflower state. |

Depending on area.. but I would say you could get a decent 4/2 for 150k ish?? if its in a suburb
I'm in the northland of KC and there were a lot of new houses built in the last 4 years that are now for sale.. for less than they went for 4 years ago... some steals to be had I'm sure

Do you own your house in San Diego? If so, sell it and buy three here.
I moved my family here from Los Angeles in 2004 and I can tell you from my house hunting then, you'll get more for your money on the Missouri side. We found a 3 year old 4 bdrm, 2.5 bathroom, full basement in a nice neighborhood for under $200K. For the same money on the Kansas side we were being shown 30 year-old houses. |
