I think the "wait and see" group is reasonably large, and I'm among them. I don't particularly blame the guy for not firing his long-term GM in his first year or so, and maybe there's a "respect for your dad" thing in there.
I expect that he won't fire anybody this year either, and will let Carl go to pasture peacefully. I don't like that, but I figure it's going to happen and am sadly resigned to it. The rebuilding of the Chiefs will begin in 2010, and 2009 will continue the destruction. Clark started out with a positive rating, it'll be neutral to slightly negative by the time he gets Carl out, and hopefully he'll recover with a good choice for the next GM and coach.
