I saw parts of that game. My thougths on Oher - 1) he has amazing quickness off the snap, 2) on pass plays they gave him a lot of TE help. I was surprised they kept an extra blocker on his side so often.

Anyone see the Ole Miss - Alabama game last weekend?

I watched parts of it to see Oher v. Andre Smith. Two very different players.

Oher - positives - very feet, good punch. Negative - still got a lot of TE help on passing downs. Didn't get to see too much of him in 1 on 1's with a speed rusher.

Smith - looks more like a mauler compared to Oher. Feet not as quick as Oher, but he might be better in the run game.

Maybe I'm expecting too much out of college kids, but neither left me thinking that "this kid is a lock to go in the top 3".

There's no doubt he's a special, special talent.

But if we go him, what do we do about the rest of the team?

We still won't have a QB. Our Lbers will still be awful. Our WRs will still stink.

And what would happen? Move Albert after just one year? And to where?

Guard? Can't do that. You can't have that much $$ tied up into a Guard.

RT? Fine. But keep in mind what we've seen when we've tried to move other LTs to RT.

Just food for thought.
