Winning 100-0 isn't where the winners went wrong here. What went wrong was continuing to do everything possible to win by the greatest possible margin until they scored 100 points with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
There is no mercy rule though....so what do you do? Do you want them to just run down to the opposite side of the court and sit there until the shot clock runs out? Miss shots on purpose? I'm not condoning what they did...but what do you expect them to do?
