Not too many QBs look like starters when they've started less than a season. We still called Green "TrINT" after his first season.

I'm anxious to see what Thigpen can do with better coaching and a decent team around him.

When Herm got fired he yelled 'NOOOO" because new head coach kills him with his absolute reliance on not being under center.

yea we'll see if any of the QB's this year are still on the team after final cuts post preseason. Some of you guys need to relize that Pioli has pretty much said this team needs to be rebuilt. He's not saying to continue the so called herm rebuild but actually doing it correctly. This team next season will be completly different week one of the 2009 season. The starting QB is not on this roster right now, I don't know who it will be I'm just predicting a lot of changes are on the way.

I'm not convinced that Thigpen is our QBOTF, but come on... the guy performed extremely well in an offense that was installed half-way through the season in his first season being a starter. He never had the snaps or preparation of the offseason and he still put up some great numbers.

I still think we need to see more out of Thigpen, especially in the accuracy dept, but I'm not ready to write him off.

But, did you hear him say (something to the effect of) they lost because they don't have a QB? That the key position is the QB?

I have my doubts about the 2 that are listed in the first round this year. But, we do need a talented QBOTF.

I think Thigpen is 50/50 at this point ... as far as us fans thinking if he will continue to be the starter. It's possible Pioli will think he has potential. It's, also, possible he will be the 3rd. string or even be cut.

...and his second season. That was 2002 when he gave Deltha Oneil the INT record for one game. Wasn't it like 4?

no, it is not. you do realize this is the kansas city chiefs we are talking about, right? and you think they can find 2 or 3 quarterbacks better than tyler thigpen this offseason?
