The vast majority of the time on balk calls, the umps are right and the fans are all dead-ass wrong. Most fans dont have a freaking clue what a balk was.

That said, that sure looked like a balk to me. It wasnt completely obvious, but I thought it fit the rulebook.

Yes. I'd imagine if I was at a ballgame, not working, just trying to enjoy the game and some douche slides in next to me and carries on an awkwardly long interview I'd probably be a dick. I'm pretty sure the brevity of his answers was intended to let that dude know he didn't give a **** about that little interview and wanted him to go away.

Instead, the reporter kept asking canned questioned 'blah blah blah..do you eat when you come to the ballpark?'

That was him. Or it was a clone, but the voice wasn't that far off. There might be a little bit of a sound quality issue between commercials and tv shows and a ballpark interview ya know.
