Life What's on your "Bucket List"? - Page 3

My stepdad died of cancer in June of 2009 (he had a bone marrow transplant in 93 and a recurrence in 05) the last weeks were not pleasant. Also. the wifey fought off breast cancer over the last 18 months. This crap had gotten me thinking about my own "bucket list" so last summer I got a jump on it. Since August of last year I have done a several 5k races, a sprint triathlon, a couple duathlons and a full marathon. I have some more athletic competitions on the horizon, but was wondering what else I might give a go. Any suggestions (besides antifreeze)? What have you already done? What would you still like to do? Thanks, and of course, sorry if repost.

I'd like to see all the great ancient sites of the world. The giza plateau, greece, mayan ruins in mexico, medieval sites in europe, stonehenge.

I took a cruise last summer.

I think mine so far is:
Make a Chiefs game
Skydive
Bungee jump
Get to Hawaii (got a buddy at Pearl Harbor, need to get out to see him)
Get to Yellowstone
Learn to fly

For me:
Skydive
Go to Alaska, hunt a brown bear.
Go to Europe, visit the D-day memorial & famous battle sites
Go to the Smithsonian
Visit Thailand, Japan & Okinawa.
Learn to fly
Sleep with a supermodel
Out live my ex's
Become wealthy enough to do all that stuff

Uhh two of those are pure vanity
