Nah.

Gannon makes millions per year as a CBS announcer. Priest Holmes received millions from the Chiefs and endorsements in the past decade. I doubt that neither are having financial issues.

If McNair had financial problems, his $3 million dollar home would have been on the market much sooner, he would have sold his restaurant business and he certainly wouldn't have bought an Escalade and a condo for a 19 year-old he was bangin' on the side.

Ok, so after seeing the girl's latest pictures, I've changed my mind and done a 180 and have decided she was fully aware of what she was doing and was likely a gold digger who got greedy and then stupid. Chances are she was mature WAY beyond her 20 years and not in a good way.

I wanted to give her the BOD because I know many young women about her age whom I could see would fall into this situation accidentally and then got in too deep. They are nice girls who would just have made a bad choice. I can't imagine any of them doing this but I guess anything is possible. They were who I was comparing this young woman to.

However, I think the girl here is probably quite like another girl who married someone we know. He was loaded, approx 20+ years older and never married. She was young and digging. Apparently everyone could see it but him. She didn't murder him but she sure took a hit out on his bank account...after they were married and she had a child. He thought she was young and innocent and didn't think he needed a prenup.

Interestingly, she looked quite like Steve's girl.

Yeah, but this is an entirely different situation. McNair was the one who initiated the relationship. Not the "digger." Assuming she didn't roofy his drink for their entire relationship, McNair was the one with the power to say "no."

There's another side to this. I've had girls who are ****ed in the head because of douche bag boyfriends who drive them to craziness. This situation reminds me a lot of Maurice Clarett and every trainwreck celebrity teen like Lindsay Lohan, Britney, etc.... They may be adults, but they're not emotionally ready for the real world and it becomes worse when there's a grown adult who strings them along.

McNair was the married guy. He was the guy who could have said "no'--> to the relationship, to the escalade, to the condo, etc.... Yes, she deserves blame and should be locked up, but we're talking about a grown man and adult stringing along a naive girl into a false sense of reality.

Honey, I was all about believing she was naive until I saw the recent pictures. NOTHING in them says anything remotely naive. The girl thought she found her ticket. Yes, McNair was an idiot who cheated but this girl is not an innocent and naive teenager who was taken advantage of...

Hey man, she's a hottie. But I just graduated from a state school (grad school) and I can tell you that there are thousands of these girls. Granted, I struck out with most of them, but I'm not a 36 year-old retired football player.

When I was 20, I was an arrogant shit with a completely distorted sense of reality. I didn't become realistic until I was about 25. Again, you can call her a gold digger all you want, but he was the one who had the power to say "no" at every point in the relationship. The more he said 'yes' and the more he bought for her, the worse he made it.

I have to be honest, to me, she looks like a nasty skank, a 5 at best, perhaps a 5 1/2 after a cold pack and a few shots. Sure the guy was rich, but she had a choice to date him.............or not. Dennise, You used the phrase "culturally sheltered" describing this girl in an earlier post. I had guessed (seems quite correctly) before you posted these pics that she was anything but sheltered. I have seen many Iranian-American girls who outparty and outwild their American counterparts. THEY and not the "culturally sheltered" ones are usually the ones who end up in the drug, sex wild party scene and vulnerable to this kind of ending. Unfortunately there are lots of cases like this.

I know what you are saying, Frankie. I guess I originally was thinking Steve's gal was more like our friend's daughter who is the same age as she was rather than the woman I spoke of earlier.

Both are Iranian women who could not be any more different from each other. FWIW, the one raised here (and whose mother is American) is the beautiful, smart, college student, charitable aid worker, etc. The one who came here as an adolescent (like Saleh) is the one who could have been McNair's lover. She married a much older rich guy and took him to the cleaners after a few years. Apparently, she had the whole party girl/hoochie mama thing going on much like Steve's friend.
