He should have played for Tampa...still wonder why he didnt...he wasnt great, but he was a decent qb and had a knack for winning games.

Shannahan was kinda dumb for not letting Jake finish out 06 as the starter...imho....but what do I know? I know why he did it, but you dont pull a quarterback thst just lead you to the afc championship game just because you drafted a qb in the first round.

This is a perfect example of a post when rival fans (we all do this) have revisionist views of history when it suits them.

Jake led Denver to the AFC Title game? Wow - you NEVER read that around here during the time, or shortly there after.

Jake took them there, but then Jay failed miserably... hmmm. And, the wild swing in defensive and rushing performance had nothing to do with it? Ok... carry on.
