Just want to say good luck...

The season starts tonight and while we all enjoy delivering a cyber-kick to the groin every now and then to those with various team affliliations, good luck. It's going to be an interesting season, likely very depressing at times for those of us tied to teams in the AFCW... but, it is what it is.

Have fun and don't get too caught up with it one way or the other. It's just a game and we're all here just to have some good 'spirited fun'. Hopefully, KC and Denver surprise us all and they make a run for being more than 'respectable'. I really can't wait until the AFCW is a tough division again, it's better for everyone when that happens.

So - enjoy, keep slingin' the smack and have a fun season.

Oh, here's to Ray Rice putting a whoopin' on KC... need him to rock in one of my leagues this week.

Oh I see.

He does have 3 Playoff wins in the last two years.

How many playoff wins do Haley, McDaniels, and Cable have combined? (as head coaches).

Wait...Norv Turner?

NORV TURNER?

Are we arguing that NORV TURNER is superior to ANYONE in the head coaching ranks?

Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

The exact same number Norv did before he coached his first pro game. What's your point?

There are a few and it's so cute when they act like real football fans. You just want to pinch their little cheeks and pat them on the head.

Great point... you have ended this debate with that stellar closing comment. Again, when Norv grows up he hopes to become Marty... and after that, Dan Reeves or Marv.

Go Ahead and laugh.

Just compare the teams that Norv has coached to the Current Chargers.

1994 - 2000 Redskins
2004 - 2005 Raiders
2007 - 2009 Chargers

One of these teams does not fit. Which one is it?

When he was with the Redskins, they had Gus Frerotte, Brad Johnson, Terry Allen, Michael Westbrook. Decent offensive talent, but garbage compared to the Chargers.

Do I even need to say anything about his tenure with the Raiders? If you want to put those horrid seasons on him, be my guest. You take away those two seasons and hes only at 4 games under .500.

Wow. Buck has fallen completely for Norv Turner.

Amazing.

It's like the NFL version of Stockholm Syndrome or something.

Again... Marty left a talented 14-2 team, Norv took it over and has improved that 14 win team to an 11 and 8 win team. The best team (from a talent perspective) he has coached had nothing to do with Norv... those weren't players he brought in, they were there... so, yeah ... which one does not fit?
