This Sanchez Chap

I fully admit that I'm not very savvy when it comes to football, but while watching the Chiefs game this weekend, CBS suddenly turned to the Jets' game instead (I'm not really sure why). Anyway, the Jets had a QB named Sanchez that seemed really good a throwing the ball (which is, I think, the primary goal of a QB). So, I started thinking: "I think this is the chap who the Chiefs could have drafted this year, but didn't."

Is that correct?

If so, how much are the Jets paying this Sanchez fellow in comparison to Cassel?

Thanks.

He needs to hold onto the ball, but all rookies have turnover issues, hell Peyton jacked up like 30 INT's his rookie year.

"They" were the guys commenting the game today. Sanchez fumbles his nuts away every game, has had a shitton of dropped picks to go with the ones he has thrown. The guy stares down WR's and has no clock presence or field presence. Yeah he's a rookie but he doesn't look anything like Ryan or Flacco did last year. He's lacking some serious instincts that those two showed even as rookies.

A fact I pointed out this morning.

Why did you wait til now to say anything about the guys talking about him this morning?

My guess is you are making the shit up, because in your state of dumbassery, you actually think someone will buy your bullshit.
See you can't even follow. I wasn't. and like I said, I called this shit this morning. Because I'm a football smart MF'er. Unlike you Sanchez homos.

So Sanchez had his first rookie game today, just got home and they were talking about it on FOX. Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson didn't seem like it was that big of deal, Strahan said it was a wakeup call that will help him in the future.

Sanchez has done some good things. I think he's going to be a solid QB. But am I convinced he'd be doing so much better than Cassel is behind this offensive line? No.

Stafford would probably do better than both of them... he spent all of last season running around behind a bad offensive line, and is playing for the Lions now.

Football smart, my ass.

You are a dum**** in every possible way.

The fact that you think you know shit because you played junior college football, a level that isn't even as good as high school football, a level that only takes the scrubs who weren't good enough to excel on their high school team, who not even the lowest level of 4 year colleges were interested in, supports the fact that you haven't a ****ing clue.

Dierdorf had a good comment at the end of the broadcast.

He said that this day was coming eventually, it might as well come against a really good team on the road.

I don't think having a bad game is a big deal.

But it's important to look at the reason why it happened. This was the first game where the Jets looked like they weren't in at least some control of the game. It was the first game where you could see the Jets take the kid gloves off and open up the offense. But that's what would happen to any inexperienced QB.

It wouldn't bother me so much, but there are dozens of posters who are obsessing over how amazing Sanchez has been and how much of a bust Cassel is. Obsessing. The same people who refuse to believe that a crappy situation has led Cassel to be uneffective are the same who are making excuses for Sanchez not excelling when the situation wasn't as favorable.

This game wouldn't have been such a big deal if there weren't so many people hugging his nuts for the first month of the season.

The Jets have been winning because of defense. Hell, they had a chance to get back in it today because of that defense even though Sanchez gave the Saints 14 points all by himself.

He's no Matt Ryan or Flacco. And you guys who thought so are football mental midgets, and don't have a god damned clue as to what you are talking about.

How did I know you would troll this thread after his FIRST bad game as a rookie? you are a simpleton jackass.

The offensive play calling was awful in this game IMO. the Saints had 9 men at the line of scrimmage and the Jets continued to try and run the ball. by you blaming Sanchez for this game only makes you look more of a jackass than you already did..lol..which is difficult to fathom
