I fully admit that I'm not very savvy when it comes to football, but while watching the Chiefs game this weekend, CBS suddenly turned to the Jets' game instead (I'm not really sure why). Anyway, the Jets had a QB named Sanchez that seemed really good a throwing the ball (which is, I think, the primary goal of a QB). So, I started thinking: "I think this is the chap who the Chiefs could have drafted this year, but didn't."

Is that correct?

If so, how much are the Jets paying this Sanchez fellow in comparison to Cassel?

Cassell qb rating today 78.5
Sanchez qb rating today 27.0
That is not a typo 27.
NO played better on D than anyone thought. But today people got a look at what sanchez would look like with the chiefs. Sanchez I think will be a good qb but he's a rookie and he may have more games like this before the year is up.
I wanted sanchez as much as anyone here but a qb can't do it on his own.
Put sanchez in a good situation and he will do well. BUT the same applies to cassell.

I should apologize to Justin Tuck since he went to Notre Dame he's obviously to smart to ever have been at a JUCO with this guy.

I dont know what the expectations of Sanchez were as a rookie..lol..but in my opinion he's doing a great job for a first year player with 4 games nfl xp under his belt.

I would take him over that pos Pennington in a heart beat. he was due to have a bad game. and any turd (guardian or whatever the **** your name is) that critiques a first year rookie like that is a clueless idiot

I'm waiting, too. I've asked him before where he played, but he's never answered. I'm convinced at this point that he's bullshitting us. The quality of his football takes certainly suggests that he is.

Sanchez blows monkey balls. If he were on a team that weren't playing playoff caliber defense right now he's already have been exposed as the piece of garbage he is.

Nope if you saw my other reply. JUCOs get alot of players who are true D1 studs bc they were morons in high school who couldn't get the grades. Its the same with alot of the D2 programs.

Actually, Jucos do have some talented players that attend because they don't meet the academic criteria of even the most minimal requirements at 4 year schools that have low standards.

After a year or two of raising their grades (wonder how they manage that?

), they do eventually move on to real college.
