Football This Sanchez Chap - Page 30

I fully admit that I'm not very savvy when it comes to football, but while watching the Chiefs game this weekend, CBS suddenly turned to the Jets' game instead (I'm not really sure why). Anyway, the Jets had a QB named Sanchez that seemed really good a throwing the ball (which is, I think, the primary goal of a QB). So, I started thinking: "I think this is the chap who the Chiefs could have drafted this year, but didn't."

Is that correct?

If so, how much are the Jets paying this Sanchez fellow in comparison to Cassel?

Yeah, when Emporia State was an NAIA school, not an NCAA school. There's a world of difference in academic qualification for athletes between those athletic associations.

Thats true no doubt. I just know some D2s can get kids that D1's cant. I know Central had a few guys that MSU couldn't get in. I'm suprised that Truman can compete at all in the MIAA with their admissions.

Do you know what the specific differences are for an out-of-state athlete to qualify at an MIAA school as opposed to a major D1?

Ohio State used to send their "non-predictors" to Coffeyville College. Ron Springs was one of them. O.J. Simpson also played JUCO ball.

This is impossible. I was told by milkman that JUCO was a level LOWER than high school.
