Jason La Canfora Rumors
Just saw on "Around the League" on NFL Network. He's reporting that in addition to Brady Quinn and Shawne Merriman, that Glenn Dorsey could be on the move. He says that the Chiefs coaches are down on him and some teams might be looking to move in for him. Also said that DJ could be had for "the right package." Sorry, no link....just saw it.

I remember coming out everyone was saying Ellis could play NT in the 3-4 also, and that Dorsey was just a UT.

If Merriman is truly available, we would be wise to invest a pick in a trade for him...but only if he would be willing to negotiate a contract that could be voided for certain reasons.

I could get on board for a second.

When on top of his game he is one of the most dominant defensive players in some time.

We need a "nasty mutha****a" like him.

This team with Hali coming off one edge and Merriman off the other could get this secondary some poorly thrown balls to feast on.

If you didn't seen it, a different reporter on NFLN completely backtracked on the Dorsey stuff this afternoon. They're high on him, really happy with how he's gotten into shape and stepped up his game, hopeful he can play a role on the defense like someone whose name I didn't catch (probably Dockett), and it would take a major offer to move him.

It was actually rather impressive how they shot down these silly "rumors" without acknowledging it was one of their own guys who started it.
