***Official Chiefs Will Beat Denver Thread***

Three of the Donkeys top receivers including their two best ones are out, the locker room is falling apart, and their QB sucks without star receivers. Last time Hali faced Clady he came away with three sacks. Winning will double our win total from last year and likely lose us the rights to Eric Berry

But it's always nice to beat Denver in Denver no matter the cost. This win will be bittersweet.

Deez, I agree with everything you've said in this thread.

GC, I am against taking a RB in the first as much as anyone. But: With a top five pick, you need a mother ****ing play making game changer. And with Berry, Suh, and Clausen off the board, and no one gives a **** about Okung, who do you take?

Dez at WR: Any other year, he is a mid first round talent, not top five.
Spiller at RB: A madden style game breaker.
A rush backer: No one worth that pick
A fat DT: No one worth that pick
QB that isn't Clausen: Not worth it with the talent available and our other needs

I hafta go Spiller.

Agreed. If we're going to reach, we could do MUCH worse than McClain.

That pick wouldn't shock me at all - especially after the Pats took Mayo in the Top 10.

You really gonna tell me Spiller does more for our offense than Danario Alexander? I just don't see it.

Didn't Crabtree have a bad knee (no, Alexander is not Crabtree, blahblah...)? He's doing OK, I'd say....

I went with those three because I think we may have a shot at all three, and all are positions that need serious upgrading.....

Yeah, I think if we were picking in the 6-10 range he might be the pick. And we could definitely do worse. Which is kind of hypocritical for me to say a year removed from my stance on Curry. But he's a completely different player.

I really have no problem taking him, provided Berry is off the board.

The kid is as dynamic a playmaker as there is, and is going to be a huge matchup problem.

IMO, he's Reggie Bush, without the sand in his 'gina. He's a triple threat who can actually carry the load for a team, unlike Bush.

I know everyone thinks we need a bruiser to pair with Charles, but I'd be happier having two guys that can take it to the house on any given play.

I don't remember Crabtree missing alot of his career with knee injuries. I think Alexander has had 2 or 3 knee surgeries. I guess where he'll be drafted will be determined at the combine.

There's nobody at the top of the first worth it. Look in the early second.

Yeah, I don't think it's hypocritical to say that at all - McClain and Curry aren't comparable, IMO.

Exactly.

I don't think there's a WR worthy of a R1 grade this year.

But there are 4-5 that would make excellent R2 picks.
