For the Rams, great defensive minds recognize that an offense that has a QB is harder to defend.

Jim Swartz went to Detroit and they drafted Stafford.

If the Rams, and more specifically, Spagnulo, feel that Bradford is that QB, they'll take him.

The league is QB driven now more than ever.

If they don't draft Bradfor, Null will be the starting QB. Devaney was also part of the Chargers FO when they drafted Leaf. Spagnuolo has the "Four Pillars" and so far, if the Rams did trade for Michael Vick, it would go against what Spagnuolo has set up. The situation in KC sounds a lot like what's going on with the Rams, Pioli is bringing in guys he has worked with in the past.

FTR, I think the only reason that the Rams pass on Bradford is because they don't see him as a franchise QB.

I wouldn't disagree with them if that were the case.

No. Not for that reason, Spagnuolo is a defensive minded Head Coach. If they did pass on Bradford it's because Null made an impression on them last season. There is no way Bulger will be the QB for the Rams in 2010.
