The Positive Thread

The Positive Thread

Let's focus on the good that came out of the draft.

Berry is a flat out stud. Nothing more to say.

McCluster has amazing game speed that will be very fun to watch on Sundays. He will be a threat to score from anywhere on the field.

Arenas is a winner, has excellent open-field tackling skills, and if the ball ends up in his hands he is a threat to take it the distance.

Asamoah is just a nasty lineman that will get the job done. He is the kind of guy that we cuss when he is on another team, but love because he is on our team.

Once again, let's keep it positive. If you want to vent, do it in one of the other 11tybillion threads.

Javier Arenas is Gilbert Arenas' cousin. Keep him away from guns and instead set him up with a Blog here on Chiefs Planet.

I have had the pleasure of watching him in quite a few games (I follow Houston Nutt). He has excellent game speed and instincts for finding seams. Accleration and cutting ability are very good, too.

Don't get too buried in 40 times. They are important, but not everything.

I strongly believe that this will be a good draft class for the Chiefs. And i also think we can finish the draft strong, the fifth round has seen a lot of trades so teams must know there is still a lot of talent left out there. so i hope we can still get some value out of our last couple picks. remember last year we may have gotten our best player of our draft in the 7th round (succop) so it is still possible to land someone else who can add to this team

If he can learn how to run a really good slot route then maybe he will be worth a sh*t. I just don't see why you would want to draft him that high in the 2nd round. He's a high situational player, that won't play the majority of snaps. Would you spend a high 2nd rounder on Dante Hall?
i was just playin, 4.6 sucks. but **** it, form what i can see in pads he tears shit up.

I like the picks, although I very much hate the trades for a broken TE.

Jesus H. Christ on a cross. Have you seen the guy? He doesn't run a freaking 4.6. Watch that video of him against Tennessee that is on vimeo.com and tell me if that rascal is running a 4.6 (which is what freaking linebackers run).

Of course he has good cutting ability. He's like a black leprechaun's height.

In Chieftan's defense he said that McCluster can move in pads.

i still dont understand why we decided to trade up for the TE, but hey if the Iowa coach said he is the best TE he has coached, including Dallas Clark then i kinda have high hopes for him
