Football Clady injured his patellar tendon - Page 4

Two NFL sources tell the Denver Post that Broncos LT Ryan Clady has injured his patellar tendon in a non-football-related incident.

A patellar tendon tear in late April would certainly jeopardize Clady's availability for the start of the season, though the severity is unknown at this time. Denver's top backup at left tackle is presumably usual starting right tackle Ryan Clady, who is also less than 100 percent due to toe surgery. The Broncos did draft Utah left tackle Zane Beadles in the second round over the weekend, though his best NFL position is at guard or right tackle.

Shanny should have taken Berry (I can say that now) he could have probably had Clady (his guy) for next years first or less at this point.

Clady already had his surgery I'd imagine that is what the doctor told him.

8 weeks + another 4 for rehab... so, 3 months is about right... the MAIN problem will be for him to stay in shape during that time... not easy to do at all.

I expect him to spend most of training camp trying to shed weight and get himself in shape for the season... doubt this will affect him much if he can be disciplined about it.

The problem comes when he tries to explode off that knee with all his weight against another 300lb man coming at him full speed.

Tendon injuries are a bitch.

Oh yeah, his chances of recurring injury are damn high now, probably will wear a brace on that knee fora long while... this definitely will shorten his time in Denver.

Updating an ongoing story, Denver Broncos OT Ryan Clady (knee) suffered a torn patella tendon while playing basketball, reports Adam Schefter, of ESPN. Clady has told people he will three months.

This is not good for Clady , a 300 pound OT cannot have hopes for an effective career after this type of injury. The knees will undergo to much stress. I feel for Clady!

But I'm happy as **** he's a donkey!!!!!
