Explain to me how jaywalking presents less of a hazard to motorists than speeding.

If everybody just jaywalked - went wandering out into the road wherever and whenever they wanted - you'd have traffic accidents by the dozen due to motorists that have this strange instinct that compels them not to kill another human being.

Jaywalking is no different than speeding. It's no different than running a red light or blowing a stop sign. If folks simply ignored shit like crosswalks, you'd have tons of problems that arise from it.

You're too damn simple to understand this, but it's absolutely true.
