He's ****ing old, his play fell off last year and he reports out of shape.

It's TIME to move on.

**** 'em. Maybe the Chiefs can get a 2017 seventh rounder for him.

Honestly it's not a big deal.
He's typically come into training camp out of shape.

Good thing is... We have other options if things don't go over well during the pre-season.
We don't have to be married to Waters anymore.

His play has declined dramatically since his legitimate pro bowl years playing next to Roaf. I think his last pro bowl came purely on name recognition. I'm not sure but I think his last Pro Bowl was in 2008 after missing it in 2007.

If the rookie Asmoah shows early promise in camp I think Waters should be our #1 trade bait to a team that's hurting.

i think Lilja should already be at LG with all the young guys competing at RG.

Waters should have to win a spot at RG or C

As of right now, since Waters is out, who is the #2 LG? I'd assume that Lilja will still be at RG and they'll have someone else at the Left. It would make more sense IMO for Lilja to move to LG and Asamoah to go to RG.

i don't know who is practicing at LG since earlier this year they had all the young guys listed @RG

LT - Albert - Richardson
LG - Waters - ???
C - Niswanger - Wiegmann
RG - Lilja - Brown - Asomoah
RT - O'callaghan - Richardson

i think that's how they were talking about the depth chart being to start off.

personally i would prefer something like this:

LT - Albert - Richardson
LG - Lilja - Niswanger - Waters
C - Waters - Wiegmann - Niswanger
RG - Brown - Asomoah - Waters - Niswanger
RT - O'callaghan - Richardson

let Niswanger learn all the interior positions and maybe find one he doesn't suck at.

Waters started as a Tightend but was projected as a center back when he first came into the league. Hopefully he steps up and leads the Oline from the Center position.

Lilja at the spot he played in Indy

Let the young guys compete at RG with Waters as the backup if he doesn't work out at center or Wiegmann has more left in the tank than I think.

So Waters failing his conditioning test is no big deal, but Haynesworth and Cody are lazy ****s for failing theirs.

This place never disappoints.

Cody couldn't sprint a 25-yard shuttle 3 times with 70 second rests....on 22 year old legs...with everyting to prove

I Hope Waters' test wasn't that easy, but even if it was the situations are different. Waters is a lazy ****, btw. I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with his rapid decline

Haynesworth isn't getting that much shit, but people are gonna piss on him because he is Haynesworth

Wow, why do people want to dump off guys who helped KC be one of the best offensive lines in Chiefs history. Old yes, but I respect him for what he's done here.

Because that's what good teams do.....when ta players best days are behind him you trade for picks and upgrade the position.

There's the Dane we didn't miss.

I rather enjoyed your takes recently when you actually provided insight rather than personal attacks.

BTW - I agree that if he can't play at a high level anymore - time to go
