If that happened, I'd imagine that Mike Singletary would single-handedly destroy all of the new renovations at Arrowhead himself.

Unless San Francisco suffers a rash of injuries before Week 3, there is no way the Chiefs offense will score enough points to beat that 49er defense, let alone stop Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis.
After our little debate about KC vs San Fran the other day.....I watched them play and watched us play......Yeah I honestly look for that to be a good old fashioned ass whoopin for KC.Hell they may even take the west.Definitely looking like Mike is taking them in the right direction.

I was skeptical of Singletary's coaching abilities a few years back because he had to beg Brian Billick to become a member of his coaching staff. He followed Mike Nolan to San Francisco but I wasn't sure if that was because of their affiliation or because he was a legitimate NFL coach.

I think that question has now been answered and truly think he'll have San Fran consistently competing in the foreseeable future.

Maybe so. But he has to prove it. Going 8-8 in a division that's amazingly not only worse than the AFC West, but significantly worse... that aien't gonna cut it.

He HAS been proving it since the day he took over.

He completely changed the culture there, with Vernon Davis as a prime example. Also, he didn't berate Michael Crabtree for missing the first six weeks of the season and all of training camp. Instead, he talked to him weekly and was very encouraging.

Singletary is going to be a serious winner in the NFL.
