Neither really hurts. That one loss against them in basketball last year really hurt, though. Oh wait, never mind, we beat them like a red-headed stepchild and won all 3 games last year. Kind of weird how a school like UNI can beat us and a school like K-State couldn't do it once after 3 freaking attempts. Like I said, KSU should stop diluting the state of Kansas. There's no reason for a state with a population of 2.8 million to have 2 BCS schools.

The regular season is so important in basketball that nobody really cares about the tourney. It's beautiful that KU fan is pounding their chests about a basketball team (during the first week of football season no less) that got bounced in the second round of the tournament.

Yeah - I love it. When they lose in the regular season: "We'll see what happens in March!!11", when they get bounced in the tournament by a shit team, they point at the regular season. It's all very amusing and sad.

You seem to be arguing a different point now. Nobody ever said that beating KSU 3 times is more important than winning the NCAA tournament or that it somehow makes losing to UNI okay. It was brought up to show that your school is the reeruned little brother of KU in the state of Kansas. Freak losses happen and they hurt, that wasn't the point, though.

Hey, bro, it was Saul who brought up the "major sports". And you're right, regular season doesn't mean anything. I only wish we could play K-State in every game of the tournament. It would be the easiest road to a NC ever.

It's possible, but it definitely isn't as sure of a thing as a 100% chance of an NC if we play you guys all 6 times.
